Our March Book Selection is 

A Ballad of Love and Glory

By Reyna Grande

This historical fiction story takes place in 1846 during the Mexican-American War.  An Irishman deserts his Yankee Army and joins the Mexican Army.  During this time he meets a Mexican Healer.  While they both fight for Mexican freedom, in the end, fall in love and fight for a future together.
