Are you late to the NaNoWriMo party but still want to join in on the fun? NaNoWriMo started just a week ago, and we are here to jumpstart your creative journey! Join us in-person and/or virtually for our kick-off party, and every Tuesday night for a series of inspiring and productive writing workshops throughout November.

National Novel Writing Month is an annual creative writing challenge that encourages writers of all levels to complete a 50,000-word novel in just 30 days. Whether you're a seasoned novelist or a first-time writer, NaNoWriMo is the perfect opportunity to get a start on your creative writing project and connect with a community of fellow wordsmiths.

Our NaNoWriMo Write-In Workshops will offer a supportive and motivating environment to help you reach your writing goals. Here's what you can expect: We'll host writing sprints to keep you focused and motivated. Set a timer, write like the wind, and see how much you can accomplish in a short burst of creativity. After which, you’re welcome to share your progress (or not), exchange ideas, and offer encouragement to one another. Participate in our NaNoWriMo challenge, and get a chance to win prizes at the end of the month.

Materials will be provided. Whether you like typing on a computer or writing by hand, we’ve got you covered. Computers will be available for use during the program, and we will have notebooks and pens to giveaway. Just bring your imagination! You are welcome to bring your own favorite writing tools if you prefer. Whether you're a plotter, a pantser, or somewhere in between, our NaNoWriMo Write-In Workshops will provide the space and support you need to make your novel-writing dreams a reality.

Let's discover the next chapter of your writing together!

This event is free and open to all, but registration is required as seating is limited.

Light refreshments such as tea and coffee will be provided.
