National Take Back Day:

Rx Drugs will be "Taken Back" by the DEA. It will be hosted by District 6's Office of Councilmember Kent Lee in collaboration with the San Diego Police Department's Community Relation's Northeastern Division and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The purpose is to promote community safety and prevent medication misuse and opioid addiction by properly disposing unneeded medications for free as a small and active way to raise awareness of the drug overdose epidemic in the United States in recognition of National Take Back Day in October.
