Event Details

This is a collaboration between the San Diego Opera, Teatro Izcalli, and the La Maestra Foundation’s Center for Youth Advancement. This is truly a homegrown project, created by City Heights Youth with support and mentoring from our partnered organizations, this will be a musical and theatrical production about love, acceptance, and a celebration of cultural diversity. This creation is a response by youth to our contemporary situation, from members of what is increasingly referred to as perhaps the most culturally diverse community in the United States.
