Medical Insights: AIDS/HIV

Dr. Raymond Chinn, the former medical director of infection prevention and clinical epidemiology at Sharp Memorial Hospital, will speak about his experiences working with AIDS/HIV patients in the 80s as well as the some of the science behind this once deadly disease. In connection with the 2019 One Book, One San Diego selection, “The Great Believers” by Rebecca Makkai.
