Pawsitive Teams will be in the I CAN! Center presenting their team of service dogs and therapy dogs and the skills they can provide. Learn more about the training that goes into making a service, therapy, and facility dog. This live demonstration will cover service dog skills that help people stay independent and the role therapy dogs play in the community. Come find out what Pawsitive Teams: Service & Therapy Dogs is all about!

Join us on October 25th from 10:30 to 11:30am to learn more about service dogs, therapy dogs, and facility dogs.

Pawsitive Teams is a volunteer-run organization, and they serve a variety of populations in San Diego, such as at-risk teens, active-duty military, children testifying in court, and those with mobility or developmental disabilities. The mission of Pawsitive Teams is to enhance the lives of individuals with special needs who live in San Diego County by using the skills of highly trained service and therapy dogs.

This program is part of our Dogtoberfest series.

Man's best friend finally gets the accolades they deserve! We're holding events all October long to celebrate the dogs in our lives. Come join us at the San Diego Public Library for festive costume contests, video competitions, educational visits from community partners, author visits and more!
