In October we invite you to experience spooky thrills as we screen both a musical and a silent film adaptation of Gaston Leroux's classic horror novel from 1910: The Phantom of the Opera.

The Phantom of the Opera (1925) :  Silent film classic about the aspiring young opera singer Christine Daaé discovering that she has a mysterious admirer intent on helping her become a lead performer: the Phantom, a horribly disfigured recluse who lives underneath the Paris Opera House.  Starring: Lon Chaney, Mary Philbin, Norman Kerry.
