During Women's History Month, we are showing films that celebrate women in sports.  

Battle of the Sexes (2017) :  This sports docudrama recreates the legendary 1973 "Battle of the Sexes" tennis match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs. When Riggs brags that he can beat any woman in the world on the tennis court, reigning champion King accepts his challenge. Their highly publicized match soon takes on a larger meaning as a milestone in the fight for gender equality.  Starring: Emma Stone, Steve Carell, Andrea Riseborough, Sarah Silverman, Bill Pullman, Elisabeth Shue.

  • Friday, March 20 at 1pm : A League of Their Own (1992, PG, 128 min.)
