In Les Misérables, Jean Valjean proudly proclaims his prisoner number: 24601.  Since this is 2024 in June and we think this musical is #1 (24-6-01), we are showing two adaptations of this epic 1862 novel by Victor Hugo.   

Les Misérables:  Not the musical, but a handsome dramatic adaptation of Hugo's 1862 classic with Liam Neeson as Jean Valjean, the ex-con in post-Revolutionary France who is hounded by a relentless police inspector. Starring: Liam Neeson, Geoffrey Rush, Uma Thurman, Claire Danes, Hans Matheson
