This Summer's reading theme is Read Beyond the Beaten Path, so we are screening films based on books that take you to far off places.  During Tuesdays in August, we'll explore the cinematic wilderness in films based on books.  

Into the Wild: Based on a true story, Emile Hirsch stars as a college grad who chucks it all to become a back-to-nature wanderer. (2007, R, 148 min)

Into the Woods (2014, PG, 124 min) Fairy tales find new life in this Stephen Sondheim musical.
