Event Details

Join local historian and Navy veteran Rudy Shappee for a journey following the Pilgrims from their refuge in Leiden, Holland to their final settling of Plymouth Plantation in the New World. We’ll also discuss what life was like for the Pilgrims at sea and the challenges they endured. This San Diego Oasis presentation is free to attend thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Mission Hills-Hillcrest Branch Library.
