In this special Banned Books Week storytime for toddlers and preschoolers, we will read banned and challenged picture books, celebrate the freedom to read, and bring these beloved and incredibly important stories to readers of all levels in the community. Let’s put an end to censorship by celebrating the many stories, people, cultures, and perspectives that make up our diverse community (and beyond!).
The event may range in length from 30 minutes to an hour depending on how long the children take with their crafts. Feel free to stay for the rest of the hour to socialize and play with our toys!
