Please join us with your young ones for a special Ramadan Storytime & Craft!
Ms. Sandy will be joined by Ms. Zeina to share fun stories, songs, and a special craft!  This bilingual storytime will feature stories and songs in both Arabic and English!

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is celebrated by Muslims worldwide. It is a month of fasting (sawm), prayer, reflection and community. Ramadan is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and a very important celebration that finishes with the festival of Eid al-Fitr which marks the end of the month of fasting.
Since Islam is the world’s second largest religion there are different regional and cultural traditions for celebrating Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.

This event may range in length from 30 minutes to an hour depending on how long the children take with their crafts. Feel free to stay for the rest of the hour to socialize and play with our toys!
