Tuesday evenings bring outstanding professional musicians from the SoCal area to Rancho Bernardo. Expect excellence in musical expression and a wide range of artists with genres from early music, classical chamber ensembles, solo recital and jazz. Come and listen to beloved performers who return season after season as well as musicians new to our series.
Enjoy an evening of music with The Peter Sprague Quartet with special guests Danny Green (piano) and Allison Adams Tucker (vocals).
Peter and the group explore music that originates from many different genres including jazz, Brazilian, pop, and the blues. Sonic travels from Paul Simon’s “Cecilia,” touching down with Hoagy Carmichael’s “Skylark,” a trip to Liverpool with The Beatles, and landing gently with Carole King’s “So Far Away.” The band features vocals by Allison Adams Tucker, piano prowess from Danny Green, Tripp Sprague playing sax and flute, and providing the low end is Justin Grinnell on acoustic bass.
