Event Details

Congressman John Lewis was a great American politician and civil rights leader, who sought justice through nonviolence and civil disobedience. In 2014, John Lewis came to San Diego and visited Oak Park Library.  He shared his life experience during the civil rights movement and his love for raising chickens. Share your thoughts and memories in celebrating his life. Also, checkout a copy of his graphic novel, “March,” and participate in a book review contest.
