Program Description

Event Details

Heirloom seeds are a rich cultural heritage that our ancestors have bestowed upon us. Learning to cultivate and preserve these seeds is an empowering opportunity to connect with our health and wellness. Join us as Nathan Lou, Executive Director of the Mongol Tribe, guides us through the history of heirloom seeds and their conservation. You will learn what heirloom seeds are, why they are important, where to find them and which ones are easy to save.

Nathan Lou is a San Diego native and urban farmer on a mission to restore food and medicine sovereignty. He is the co-founder of Mongol Tribe a 501(c)(3) founded in 2018. Mongol Tribe bridges wholistic health and wellness with civic ecology.
