Event Details

Kick off the 2023 Summer Reading Program with canine ambassadors from San Diego Humane Society!

Research shows that reading to dogs helps calm young readers of all levels so they can read with greater ease and confidence. The San Diego Humane Society will have trained dogs at the library for this very purpose. Kids of all ages can enjoy the unique opportunity to read with a furry friend and sign up for the Summer Reading Program.

Registration for this event is not required. To sign up for Summer Reading, visit sandiego.beanstack.org.
