Come and join us for a bilingual story time in the English and Spanish languages.  Enjoy songs, rhymes, stories, and crafts.  

Join us weekly for 30 minutes for songs, stories, and sign language followed by 30 minutes of free play and snacks.

This is a free program for parents and their babies/toddlers. 

A 45-minute Storytime for young children including books and music with the addition of American Sign Language signs with Jennifer Duncan from Signs at Play.

Kick off the 2023 Summer Reading Program with canine ambassadors from San Diego Humane Society!

Join us for a presentation from Wild Wonders! Audiences will learn about and interact with animals from around the world in this amazing and educational program. 

We invite you to join our Baby Dance Party, singing and dancing along with Ms. Andrea from Dance to Evolve! 

We will have songs, movement and tons of fun for your babies to dance, play, and interact! 

To kick off our Summer Reading program series, Zovargo is coming in to help us learn about animals from around the world and their unique abilities that help them thrive. In this program, you’ll go on safari right from your local library!

LEGACY WRITING with COLLEEN LINNERTZ, LMFT, SHARP HEALTHCARE Legacy writing is a gift, often in the form of a letter or short story that you create for friends and family.

Need help with your smart phone, tablet, or laptop?  These Open Office Hours sessions will help you get going!

All young children and their caregivers are welcome to join us for stories, songs and rhymes. Held outdoors on the grass, bring a blanket or chair.  No Registration required. We hope to see you there!

Join Ms. Joyce for storytime on the outerspace alphabet rug inside of the library. We will read stories for kids ages 3-7, sing songs, shake our shakers, and have fun!

My Live Interactive Video Preschool/Kindergarten Storytimes, good for kids ages 4 to 6, are fun, kinetic, and humorous experiences!  I make it a point not just to read books, but to perform them as well!

Join us for a Bi-lingual (Somali/English) Storytime! Learn and Craft! Snacks are provided while supplies last.

Would you like to learn to knit, crochet, do needlework or just spend time with other creators?

Bring your current project to work on, or if new to the hobbies, we'll help get you going.

All skill levels are welcome!

Instructors are from Silver Age Yoga.  Designed so that seniors can safely participate at their level of comfort. Every class utilizes chairs but please bring your own exercise mat if desired. Registration required for each session

This Summer's Reading Theme is Find Your Voice, so you can watch two films on the PB Library's big screen that feature singers forging their identities.

Lego Builders' Club returns to Mira Mesa!  What will you build today? Join us every Friday in the Community Room from 3:00-5:00. We provide the Legos you bring the creativity.  Free.  No registration required.

Come join us for Lego Club on the first and third Fridays of the month from 4pm - 5pm! The library provides the Lego for creative free build. Creations are displayed at the library for 2 weeks. All materials must stay at the library.
