Event Details

Technology has made the world smaller for everyone, and for people who are blind or have low vision technology has made the world more equal. Even 10 years ago, a blind person could not use a cell phone or computer without special software. But now anyone can use most smart phones and tablets right out of the box!

In this workshop we will discuss the built-in accessibility features of iPhone/iPad for people who are blind or have low vision.

  1. Where can we find accessibility features?
  2. What is Zoom?  How do we use it?
  3. What is VoiceOver?  How do we use it?
  4. Is VoiceOver the same as Siri?


Please note: This free workshop is limited to 6 students (with a minimum of 4).  If the workshop does not have enough registrants by 4/2/19 it may be cancelled.
