Do you have a child learning to read? Bring them to the library to read to an adorable animal friend! Children can practice their skills and build confidence in reading and public speaking skills. Reading to animals has also been proven to reduce stress and anxiety, and promote wellness.
Trained animals will be provided by volunteers with the San Diego Humane Society, so please leave your own pets at home.
Animals are available first come first served.
