Event Details

Azerbaijan's Grand Master Vasif Durarbayli and 13-year-old Isaac Wang, the 2022 U.S. Co-champion and 2023 San Diego Chess Club Champion, will compete during this special edition of La Jolla Library's weekly Chess Club for Kids program. Hear from these chess prodigies, learn about what it takes to compete at the international and national level, and watch their match or play alongside them! 

In partnership with Global Neighborhood Project, the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles, and La Jolla High School Chess Club.
