Summer Reading Program Event 2025: Kamishibai Storytime with Write Out Loud

Event Details

Kamishibai story-telling combines oral, visual, and print literacies. The stories rely on lively dialogue and highly dramatic situations that engage youngsters both emotionally and intellectually. The large illustration boards make it possible for an entire class to see the images and experience the story-teller at the same time. 

 

This program is part of the 2025 Summer Reading Program!  Patrons of all ages are encouraged to sign up for this event and Level Up at the Library! Complete a combination of 10 books, hours of reading or activities to claim your prizes. Sign up begins June 1st and the program will last through August 31st.
