Event Details

Celebrate the end of the Lunar New Year & Fire Engine Visit!

This program is focused towards children 2-5 years old and their caregivers. Every week we will offer a Storytime and craft to encourage early literacy followed by free play to develop fine motor skills. Select dates will include a representative from the community to come speak about various subjects relevant to children under the age of 5. 

There will be play stations set up for children to explore, learn and play while adults will be able to connect, learn and relax.

For this storytime, we are celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year's Chinese Lantern Festival with our own Chinese Lantern Festival during storytime. 

 

City of San Diego FIRE ENGINE will visit the library during storytime! If there is an emergency, the fire engine may arrive late or have to leave early.
