Tech Academy for Girls

is bringing their program to the

Rancho Peñasquitos Branch Library!

Java is one of the most applicable and common programming languages seen to date! It is seen in multiple phone applications and online games! With this workshop, the girls will be learning the basics of programming with an introduction to scratch and then advance to basic arithmetic and primary data types. Towards the end of the five-week period, the girls will have a working game ready to take home and show off to their friends and families!

This is a set of five FREE classes which occur on the following dates from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM: July 7, July 14, July 21, July 28, August 4. You are encouraged to attend at least four out of the five classes to gain a deeper understanding of Java. However, we understand if you will be traveling and out of town due to summer vacation!
