Event Details

Do you enjoy listening to stories? Enjoy fiction with interesting characters? How about a spooky mystery? Perhaps you prefer a spicy novella? Sit back and relax with your community as we explore books of all genres! Every few months we will begin a new book for our read aloud! A group vote will be taken from a variety of titles and suggestions are welcome! We will begin each read aloud with a summary of the content covered previously so anyone can join at anytime! We finish the hour with an engaging discussion.

Being read aloud to is enjoyable for adults of all different backgrounds and preferences. Close your eyes and let the story take you away or follow along and practice your reading skills. Group reading not only stimulates and brings peace to the mind but it can also develop literacy by improving fluency, building vocabulary, and strengthening comprehension. Tell a Tale Tuesday: Adult Read Aloud is a fun opportunity to fulfill a love for reading and will take place on the 2nd and 3rd Tuesday of every month.
