Event Details

Join the San Diego Public Library and the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition Saturday, July 27th at 10:00 a.m. for a community bicycle tour of our district 3 library locations and Where’s Waldo themed scavenger hunt! This 11 mile ride will begin at Central library, and includes stops at North Park Library, University Heights Library, and Mission Hills-Hillcrest/Knox Library, before looping back to finish at Central. Participants will venture into each library and find Cycling Waldo to claim a prize at ride’s end. This group ride requires intermediate cycling skills and will involve moderate climbing (approx. 550 ft.), light traffic intersections and roads, and a group ride’s pace. 12 and over are welcome, minors must be accompanied by an adult. Attendees are encouraged to join for part or all of the ride.  

Pre-registration is encouraged and day of registration begins at 9:30 a.m. in Central’s courtyard. Complimentary energy bars and water provided while supplies last. *Helmets and signed waivers are required to participate in the group ride.
