Program Description

Event Details

This is an in-person, outdoor event at the San Diego Central Library. Masks are required and social distancing protocols will be followed. In the event of inclement weather (a San Diego rarity!), this event will be held indoors in our first-floor Lobby. You may also join us virtually on the 2nd Tuesday of each month hosted by the Rancho Peňasquitos Library: REGISTER HERE

During the pandemic, it felt as if the world went digital all at once, but San Diego Public Library would like to invite you to switch gears back into the analog world of handwriting as we begin hosting in-person programming once again.

We will be hosting Christian Michaels from The Writing Den as he facilitates a small group in chatting, writing, and sharing what's on your mind as you put pens to paper. The Writing Den is a nonprofit organization that helps those in need create, communicate, and connect through the power of handwriting.

This is a FREE event. Prompts, supplies, and stamps as well as support will be provided by staff.
