Baby/Toddler Storytime includes stories and songs

Join in as we read, sing, dance, and play in this special storytime meant to encourage a love of reading and build essential early literacy skills.

Improve your balance and mobility with slow, controlled movement.

Join us for a super fun performance that combines American Sign Language with songs, stories, and engaging toys and props.

This lap-sit storytime encourages bonding and introduces a love for books by using song, movement, rhythm and rhyme.

Children and their families are invited to join storyteller extraordinaire Ms. Kathie for fabulous stories, rich rhymes, and scintillating songs! This lively storytime is sure to warm the heart!

Toddler Storytime is designed for preschoolers to develop their motor skills and improve language learning through song, stories, play and bubbles.

If you want to introduce your little one to yoga or practice yoga with your toddler, this class is for you! Come join us for songs, fun poses, and a special yoga story time for parents and kids. For toddlergs ages 1-4.

Preschool Storytime includes stories and songs.

Learn signs to use with your baby! Signing fun with songs, stories, and finger plays as well as tips for using sign language as a preverbal communication tool with your baby. Recommended for ages 0+.

This yoga class uses postures and stretches in combination with the breath to increase flexibility and relaxation. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat or towel.

Share ideas and improve your skills, or maybe even learn how to do a craft!  Knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, and jewelry-making are the current favorites, but new crafts often join the mix. Never crafted before? That's okay too!

Jammin’ @ the Library program offers free beginning guitar instruction for teens and adults at the San Diego Public Library’s Central Library in a series of group lessons.  The program is for ages 12 and up.

A program that fuses Latin rhythms with easy-to-follow moves. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt while burning fat.

Volunteer led homework help for students in grades K-12.

Zumba is a full body workout that combines high energy dance moves with calisthenics to a Latin beat. Class is great for beginners who want to burn calories and have fun.
