It's Comic-Con week! Come to the University Heights Branch Library during library open hours between 9:30am-5:00pm on Friday, July 21st and create your very own comic book and then pick up a free comic book* to take with you! All ages welcome!

Are you cosplaying during San Diego Comic-Con and need a cosplay repair? Don't despair! Swing by the Central IDEA Lab on the 4th floor of the Central Library for quick fix solutions to your cosplay woes.

Join us weekly for 30 minutes for songs, stories, and sign language followed by 30 minutes of free play and snacks.

This is a free program for parents and their babies/toddlers. 

A 45-minute Storytime for young children including books and music with the addition of American Sign Language signs with Jennifer Duncan from Signs at Play.

Join the legendary Arty Loon for a bewildering, beguiling magic show and come away learning some tricks of your own!

Join us the a fun performance by the very famous Sparkles the Clown!  Sparkles will amaze kids with her magic tricks and have them laughing with her silly antics. Do not miss this show! 

We invite you to join our Baby Dance Party, singing and dancing along with Ms. Andrea from Dance to Evolve!

For our Summer Reading program series, Michael Rayner is bringing us his hilarious juggling show!

The San Diego Futures Foundation is hosting FREE in-person classes for people of all skill levels.

Need help with your smart phone, tablet, or laptop?  These Open Office Hours sessions will help you get going!

All young children and their caregivers are welcome to join us for stories, songs and rhymes. Held outdoors on the grass, bring a blanket or chair.  No Registration required. We hope to see you there!

Free Summer Lunch at San Diego Public Library. Monday-Friday from 12-1 PM. Ages 0-18. Join us!

Play a board game or learn chess! Lunch will be served to ages 0-18.

In partnership with the San Diego Unified  School District, Lunch @ Your Library will provide free hot lunches to children ages 0-18.

Instructors are from Silver Age Yoga.  Designed so that seniors can safely participate at their level of comfort. Every class utilizes chairs but please bring your own exercise mat if desired. Registration required for each session

In celebration of Pride we'll be hosting a Pride Storytime! Join us after Summer Lunch for a special Pride themed story time with Ms. Jeannette. Follow along, "Grandad's Camper," a story about a little girl honoring someone's she's lost.

Come join us for Lego Club on the first and third Fridays of the month from 4pm - 5pm! The library provides the Lego for creative free build. Creations are displayed at the library for 2 weeks. All materials must stay at the library.

Did you know you can take home a puzzle from the library? Stop by Pick-a-Puzzle to take a puzzle home or drop off an intact puzzle for others! 

TAB Volunteers help plan and promote teen programs, create teen book displays, and advocate the rights of teens in your community. Interested? Attend the meeting to find out more!
