SketchUp is a powerful tool used for the creation of 3D objects and some limited animation. This class will allow the student to learn various 3D design and modeling techniques with emphasis on exporting the finished art to a 3D printer.

Free 9 week computer proramming workshop in partnership with UCSD Extension. Participants will learn web design, iOS Development, and Android Development. 

A staff member from San Diego Project Heartbeat will teach how to perform CPR.  The training will also cover the use of an AED.  This class is appropriate for older children, teens, and adults.

Paws for Reading is a program that allows children (K - 4th grade) to read aloud to a therapy dog in order to improve reading and communication skills.

The La Jolla Library and Warwick’s introduced La Jolla Reads as our local version of “One Book, One San Diego,” where a different title will be chosen every four months for everyone in the community to enjoy and discuss.

Aryn Rannazzisi leads a gentle paced class combining breath work and postures (asanas) to promote strength, flexibility and balance. This all-level class will include inversions, back bends and sun salutations.

This event will be held at the Young Adult Area because the Community Room will be booked for Family Music. For 7th to 12th graders.

Join author Curtis Howard for a book talk and discussion of his book Cellmates & Cellouts about his life and experiences in prison. Howard explains what it is like to be in prison. It is not what you see on TV
