Come join us for Music and Movement at Beckwourth Library! Here your children will move and groove, make music of their own and get to enjoy a fun story with their local librarian.

Come one, come all to this story time designed for toddlers. Little ones and their caregivers will enjoy songs, rhymes, and books with captivating illustrations.

Teens and tweens are invited to create a unique "sandscape" biome using colored sand, air plants, and other embellishments. Participants will select an ecosystem - chaparral, desert, or ocean - to model their sandscape biome after.

Children's Craft will inspire you to think about using shapes to create an image! Will you make a car, a face, or something completely new! Stop by in-person to attend and make your own shape creation! Children of all ages welcome!

Come create something unique at Lego Club.  We will be meeting each Tuesday at 2:30 pm for an hour of fun building original lego creations.  Preschool through sixth grade.  Duplos are available for younger builders.

Come test your skills against others during our weekly video game time. We have plenty of consoles and games to choose from. Video game time will be every Tuesday from 3 pm-5 pm, there will be a capacity and time limit for each participant/group.

Children can build with LEGOs and display their creations in the library.

RoboThink kids will work on building fun video games while learning the most important coding concepts (loops, variables, and conditionals) in a fun way, using colorful Scratch coding blocks instead of a plain text-based programming code.

Staff is on hand to assist you with free/low cost Internet, computers and/or laptops.  Stop in during open hours to get one on one assistance in meeting your technological needs.
