Join Ms. Carrie, on Zoom, Wednesday mornings for virtual stories, songs, and fun that foster early literacy skills.

Enjoy fun songs and engaging stories with Carrie The Librarian! Due to Covid restrictions, masks for children and unvaccinated adults are highly encouraged. 

Mind and Body Fitness is done mostly standing or in a chair. No mats required.
Space is limited to 25 people per class.

Be sure to get to the library a little early, this class fills up fast!

Looking for fun learning experiences for your infant, toddlers, or/and preschoolers?

Neighborhood House Association will be providing information and will be recruiting for the Early Head Start and Head Start program.

Bring your smartphone or tablet for hands on practice with experts from SDFF who will teach you how to be safe and stay connected to the digital world. Also learn about the various programs available to help you get connected.

This bilingual program is designed for preschool children to experience both English and Spanish in a fun, engaging setting. During each session, we will read stories and sing in both languages. 

Ages 0-3

Bond with your baby/toddler through books, bounces, fingerplays, and movements.

Ms. Jennifer will share stories, songs, puppets and more with children ages 0-2. Older siblings are welcome! Please bring a blanket to sit on the grass.

Join us for Toddler Storytime Outdoors with Mrs. Suzanne!  We'll have fun reading a book, singing songs & dancing to get our wiggles out.

Mr. Larry reads fun stories and sings songs followed by craft time.

Join us on the 1^st Wednesday of the month for our storytime with Ms. Debbie. This storytime is meant to build essential early literacy skills and a lifelong love for reading.

Stop and Swap: Seeds, Plants, Veggies, Fruits, Flowers and More!

Too many zucchinis? Lots of cut flowers? Succulents getting too big? Fruits and Veggies galore? Ordered too many radish seeds?

Stop in for one on one assistance with your technology questions or for assistance in applying for low/no cost computers or Internet.  

Get together with your friends after school and have fun with a big box of different STEAM projects and games.

Join us for Pre-school and elementary story time and craft. 

If you have a love for writing and would like to develop your skills, this workshop is an excellent place for you. You will write short stories and poetry, share your work with others and discover other's work.

Join us at the library every other Wednesday afternoon for conversation,  knitting, crocheting, or whatever your favorite fiber art may be. Bring your own project and join others who wish to learn and grow their yarn craft skills.

Join us on the Patio outside the children's room for arts and crafts after school every Wednesday at 2pm.

Join us for story-inspired stretches, music, and child-friendly props! We conclude by using our breath to transition from silly to calm. Please bring a mat or towel.

Come and learn about the art and culture of Breakin' presented by CYPHER ST8. Workshops are held every Wednesday starting on September 7th at 4:00 pm for six weeks. Classes are structured for children ages 6 to 12 years old.

Crafting is fun for all ages. Bring your little ones to the library for some age appropriate arts and crafts.  It encourages creativity, practices fine and large motor skills and facilitates expression. Come join us!
