Dance, sing, laugh, and enjoy engaging stories with Carrie The Librarian! This program is recommended for ages 2-5 but all ages are welcome at this fun weekly program. 

Join City Ballet of San Diego for "A Book and a Ballerina!" Enjoy listening to a read-aloud, hearing from a professional ballerina, and learning some basic dance steps.

Sensory play. Join us outside to play with our new sensory tables. Mud play, sand play, and more! Program takes place in the backside of our patio.

Mind and Body Fitness is done mostly standing or in a chair. No mats required.
Space is limited to 25 people per class.

Be sure to get to the library a little early, this class fills up fast!

This bilingual program is designed for preschool children to experience both English and French in a fun, engaging setting. During each session, we will read stories and sing in both languages.

Join us at the Legler Benbough Teen IDEA Lab September 23rd - 26th from 2pm until closing for Banned Book Week as we screen films based on books that have been banned at one point or another across the United States.

In this special Banned Book Week Read to a Reptile program, we will have banned books available to read to DK, our bearded dragon or Darwin, our Ball Python.

Join us for story-inspired stretches, music, and child-friendly props! We conclude by using our breath to transition from silly to calm. Please bring a mat or towel.

The Mission Hills Mystery Book Club attendees discuss a mystery novel on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 3:00 PM. Pick up this month's book at the Mission Hills-Hillcrest/Knox Branch Library.
