Meet for a different book selection every third Tuesday of the month. Read the book The Midnight Library by Matt Haig and then join a lively book discussion here at Balboa Branch Library.

Come join us every Tuesday at 11:30am for Music and Motion! This program is designed to introduce babies and toddlers to music, dance and instruments. We will learn new motor skills, shake our sillies out and sing at the top of our lungs.

Free Digital Literacy Classes presented by the San Diego Futures Foundation and the SD Access 4 All Initiative. Our May series focuses on network safety. Classes are held every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with the following format:

Work on your flexibility, strength building and quiet your mind with functional movement practice. Participate at your own ability. Wear flexible clothing and bring any preferred yoga equipment.

Baby Play & Learn is designed to support the development of children ages 0-24 months. This program includes stories, rhymes, songs, and movement activities  followed by an open play time.

A former browse expert shares details on the use of plants to support wildlife in managed care. Zoo visitors often miss the importance of the plant material provided, from vital food to toys, and from furniture to shelter.

Our Crochet-Along meets every first and third Tuesday of the month starting January 2024. A crochet-along is when a group of crocheters all work on the same project at the same time.

Join Bernadette with Silver Age Yoga for gentle yoga classes that can be done on a mat or seated in a chair.

Create imagery or sculptures using the process of paper making! Paper is a material that is a staple in nearly every art form across the world, be it for drawing, painting or even sculpture.

Never used a computer before or have very little experience? Learn basic computer skills on one of our computers with guidance from one of our staff.
