Join Children’s Librarian Miss Julie for stories, songs, fingerplays, and lots of fun!  This program is designed for children ages 2-4.

Join Ms. Camille and Ms. Melissa every Thursday at the OB Rec Center for storytime and free play for children 0 to 5 years old. Each week children will have the opportunity to explore and socialize and so will their caregivers!

Kensington-Normal Heights Librarians will share stories, songs, and bubbles with children ages 3-5. Older and younger siblings welcome! Bring a blanket to sit on the grass.

Families for Literacy Program

Join us on the 3rd Wednesday of the month for our LEGO storytime with Mr. Victor. This special storytime is meant to foster creativity though the use of LEGO and storytelling.

In recognition of Filipino American History Month, Miss Helene will be reading Our Nipa Hut: A Story in The Philippines about a family in the Philippines that must work together to save their home during a tropical storm.

Providing enrichment for our animal friends is incredibly important! During this monthly program you can help us make fun and easy enrichment items for homeless animals at our local Humane Society.

In celebration of Filipino American History Month, Ms. Jean Torres will be reading her book, Dirty Kitchen: An Ilokano-American Story. Discover the magic of cooking with Lola (grandma) and learn about Filipino culture. 

Southern California Ballet is partnering with the Rancho Bernardo Branch Library for “Dancing Through the Pages,” a program that allows children to explore movement and dance through storytelling!

Kids can enjoy being creative by building with LEGO blocks and DUPLO bricks. It's a great opportunity for exploring with new ideas, as well as sharing concepts and strategies with other attendees.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with us at the library by joining our hands-on workshop, Make Your Own Tortillas! No prior cooking experience is needed.
