Week Calendar

The Teen IDEA Lab is a space to be used for creative projects that require specialized equipment and software.

Featuring a music studio, Makerspace, and iMac workstations and so much more!

Each class includes breathing practices (pranayama), postures rooted in functional movement (asana), and relaxation (savasana). All movements and exercises aim to strengthen the body and mind. These classes are open to all ages, all levels.

Join the knitting and crochet circle. Improve your skills in these traditional art forms.  Bring your project for social crafting!

Would you like to learn a card game that is challenging for your mind while also providing a rewarding social experience with your friends? Bridge has been played by millions around the world since it took its current form about a century ago.

Dive into the world of video games at the San Diego Public Library’s 3rd annual Game Jam! Learn the basics of game development and design, then collaborate in teams to build your own game using Godot, RenPy, or Scratch.

Teens and tweens ages 10–18 are invited to unleash their creativity at Sketch Night!

Paint the pieces and then use wood glue to construct your own birdhouse!

Bookmarks & Bingo: A Book Club with a Playful Twist!

Join us at the Kensington-Normal Heights Library for a Free Persian Music Concert in the park. The music will be jazz inspired with a Persian flair. There will be a mix of Eastern and Western Instruments.

Come drop in to play various STEAM games in our downstairs children's area. Learn about programming, circuits, and more!

Our expert will assist with design and demonstrate how to use the 3D print design software Tinkercad. Geared toward children ages 7 and up, teens & adults.
