Dr. Gina Simmons Schneider is a licensed psychotherapist, award-winning blogger, writer for Psychology Today, and contributor to Women in Crime, Ink. She has been featured in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and San Diego Union-Tribune. Her article “Does Violent Media Cause Aggression?” appeared in Gale: Cengage Learning and won the 2009 Spiritual/Inspirational category from San Diego Book and Writing Association Awards.
