Event Details

Dive into the world of video games at the San Diego Public Library’s 2nd annual Game Jam! Learn the basics of game development and design, then collaborate in teams to build your own game using a combination of Godot, RenPy, and Scratch. During the game jam, teams can work together remotely and/or in person to complete their projects and can attend optional drop-in sessions for additional instructor support. Games will be showcased and compete for prizes at the end of the jam. Software and equipment provided.

No experience is required.

Registration is required.

*Participants must attend one of the below instructional sessions*

Instructional Session #1: Monday, June 10, 2024 @ 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Instructional Session #2: Monday, June 10, 2024 @ 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM

[Participants may consider staying after the instructional sessions to collaborate with their teams.]
