Program Description

Event Details

Whether you're a die-hard Swiftie superfan, a literature enthusiast, or simply curious to explore a unique intersection of music and literature, this book club is for you!

On the third Monday of each month, we'll explore the diverse range of books referenced in Taylor Swift's songs, uncovering the rich connections between literature and music. Each month, we'll select one book that has been referenced within Taylor Swift's lyrics and dive deep into its themes, characters, and narratives. From classic literature to contemporary novels, each book offers a fascinating glimpse into the stories that have inspired some of Taylor Swift's most beloved songs.

No prior knowledge of Taylor Swift's music is required—just bring your love of reading and a willingness to explore new perspectives. Whether you're drawn to romance, mystery, or coming-of-age tales, there's something for everyone in our Swiftie Book Club!

This month we'll discuss The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Meetings last about an hour; members are responsible for obtaining their own copies of the selected books, either via book shop, online, digitally, or from their local libraries.

This hybrid program allows for virtual and in-person attendance. If you plan to attend in-person, we meet on the 5th floor of the library at the Travel Center, just to the right as you exit the bank of elevators.

If you plan to attend virtually, you will receive a zoom link with your confirmation email.

Light refreshments will be provided.
