Program Description

Event Details

This month we'll discuss The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Whether you're a die-hard Swiftie superfan, a literature enthusiast, or simply curious to explore a unique intersection of music and literature, this book club is for you!

On the third Monday of each month, we'll select one book that has been referenced within Taylor Swift's lyrics and dive deep into its themes, characters, and narratives. From classic literature to contemporary novels, each book offers a fascinating glimpse into the inspiration behind some of Taylor Swift's most beloved songs.

No prior knowledge of Taylor Swift's music is required—just bring your love of reading and a willingness to explore new perspectives. There's something for everyone in our Swiftie Book Club!

Members are responsible for obtaining their own copies of the selected books from the library, the book shop or wherever the love to pick up their reads. Books can be found and holds may be placed on the San Diego Public Library catalog.

Light refreshments will be provided. Friendship bracelets welcome!
