March Midday Music Series features Laevitas with Kenneth Liao & Drew Butcher. The ensemble’s artistic partnership formed from a shared passion of chamber music, and brings together contrasting musical backgrounds to deliver original arrangements of diverse repertoire across Southern California.
Midday Music is a free lunchtime concert series held in collaboration with Art of Elan on select Fridays throughout the year. Concerts take place in the 9th floor Shiley Special Events Suite and concertgoers are invited to bring their lunch and enjoy beautiful music and views together.
This brand-new series and partnership is dedicated to James R. Dawe, a longtime San Diego arts advocate and supporter of public libraries and is supported by Library Foundation SD.
No RSVP is necessary.
San Diego Central Library offers visitors up to 2 hours free parking in the underground garage with a validated ticket on regular days.
The library is one block from the Park & Market stop on the Trolley Blue and Orange lines. Bus routes 12, 901 and 929 stop in front of the library entrance steps (11th Ave. / K St. intersection).
