Event Details

Engineering isn't just about building something, it is about building something for the greater good that helps make our communities better. In this Civil Engineering workshop, girls will learn about two Female Engineers who use simple shapes to create amazing structures. We will turn 2-dimensional shapes into 3-dimensional. We will also learn about dimensions, measurements, spatial awareness, 3D visualization, and 3D manipulation. Students will then use their knowledge and the Engineering Design Process to create their own structure as a team. See why these are important for engineering and how they can help our communities.
