Event Details

Here we discuss the best true crime books.  While the stories can be gruesome and the characters repulsive, the stories entertain and often promote considerations of sociological and psychological perspectives.  We will discuss the narratives and the storytelling.  We meet online (Zoom) on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm. Limited copies of the chosen title can be sourced by the library.  Place a hold or ask a librarian to assist.  County has some copies as well.  This month's selection "Chase Darkness With Me" The book is gripping, complex, unforgettable, Chase Darkness with Me is an examination of the evil forces that walk among us, illustrating a novel way to catch those killers, and a true crime narrative unlike any you've listened to before.
