"Murder by the Book" True Crime Book Discussion (Online and In-Person)

Here we discuss the best true crime books.  While the stories can be gruesome and the characters repulsive, the stories entertain and often promote considerations of sociological and psychological perspectives.  We will discuss the narratives and the storytelling.  We meet in a hybrid format on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm. Limited copies of the selected title are available via inter-library loan.  Ask your local librarian about Circuit and Link+.  Captivating and expertly crafted from interviews with Paula’s family and friends, police reports, and on-the-scene investigation, What Happened to Paula is part true crime story, part memoir, a timely and powerful look at gender, autonomy, and the cost of being a woman.
