Event Details

Here we discuss the best true crime books.  While the stories can be gruesome and the characters repulsive, the stories entertain and often promote considerations of sociological and psychological perspectives.  We will discuss the narratives and the storytelling.  This month's selection is "American Predator".  When journalist Maureen Callahan first heard about Israel Keyes in 2012, she was captivated by how a killer of this magnitude could go undetected by law enforcement for over a decade. And so began a project that consumed her for the next several years.  We meet in a hybrid format on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm. Limited copies of the selected title are available via inter-library loan.  If you struggle to secure a copy ask a librarian about Circuit and Link+
