Tonight's screening is a historical drama with fantastical elements. Adapted from a Virginia Woolf novel, starring Tilda Swinton, and directed by Sally Potter, the film's main character first appears in the 1600s and, by royal anointment, remains unaged for four centuries. Through bloodlines, romance, and political pursuits, our protagonist stretches the boundaries of gender while they flourish through the ages.
PG-13 | 93 min. | Fantasy, Historical Drama | 1992
