Youth Literacy Day Celebration: Local Author Fair

Calling all teens! Earn service hours and help the library make decisions about serving teens in our community.

Molly Ruttan will read and discuss her book SOMETHING WILD, published by Nancy Paulsen Books. "It is about a little girl who loves playing violin but has terrible stage fright.

The Del Mar Piano Quartet with Hervé Brönnimann (violin), Penny Bridges (viola),  Janet White (cello), and Michael Krause (piano).

Peter and Teanna Okojie present us with the touching, compelling story of an African American military veteran’s journey to Nigeria’s Badagry slave port—coined “The Point of No Return”—as he walks the same path as his ancestors.
