Transform into Batman, Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Hulk, & more with DIY masks you can make yourself. Then grab a free comic book to take home! All day long Saturday, May 5th while supplies last. All ages.
The Carmel Mountain Ranch Library will be giving away one comic book to each library patron, while supplies last. Coloring sheets will also be available for children.
Free Comic Book Day
Discover the amazing world of comic books! Stop by all day long to pick up your free comic book. Drop in between 1 and 3pm, and you can do a comics craft, too. We will also celebrate with a month-long Star Wars scavenger hunt!

This Library NExT course introduces students to the many marine mammals native to San Diego, including seals, sea lions, dolphins and great whales. This class covers how researchers identify and study these animals.
MINI-COMIC WORKSHOP BY TOSHWERKS
Children (ages 5 and up) and adults will get a crash course on how to organize and layout a comic in a fast and affordable way. Mini comics are a wonderful format for aspiring comic artists and writers to organize ideas.
Slimy ocean animals like octopuses, sea stars, sand dollars and moon snails are the focus of this Library NExT class. Students discover the secret of how octopuses change color and how oysters make pearls.
