All sewing levels welcome!   New to sewing?  No problem.   No experience necessary.  We will show you the basic skills that can be used in future sewing projects.

Participants MUST bring their own laptop/Chromebook. Students ages 10-16 will engage in an exciting, hands-on robotics program to help them prepare to take part in FIRST robotics competitions.

We supply the Legos, you provide the creativity!  Children ages 6-12 are invited to unleash their imaginations and build!  This program will meet on the first and third Monday of each month. 

Be amazed and entertained by Mad Science as they demonstrate chemical reactions, fantastic forces, and more. The show appeals to both students and parents alike (geared towards kids 3-12).

Calling all LEGO Builders!

Put your engineering and problem-solving skills to the test by taking part in unique LEGO building challenges or let your imagination run wild and build your own special LEGO creations.

Each week's LEGO

Join us for our weekly LEGO Club program! Promoting STEAM and creativity, let your kids express their inner engineer! Designs will be displayed in the children's library stacks.

Join us to build your own Benham’s disk, an optical illusion toy with a black-and-white design that appears to produce various colors as it spins. For ages 5 and up.

Participants will explore the parts of plant and animal cells and how they differ. They’ll then dive into the anatomy of the heart and brain, gaining a closer look at how these organs work through hands-on 3D models.

Ready to turn your slime obsession into a creative business adventure? In this fun-filled workshop, kids will learn about inspiring SLIMEtrepreneurs, like YouTube star Carina Garcia, and dive into the world of target marketing.

Ages 8 and up. During this session, participants will explore exciting chemistry and physics topics such as atomic structure, the periodic table, motion and forces, and waves.

Come build your creations while making new friends!  All Legos will be supplied by the Paradise Hills Branch Library.  Your creation may even be featured in our display case! 

STEAM every other Tuesday with library staff as we take on a unique science or art project!  All supplies provided.  Grades K—5^th.

Let's play chess!  All ages and skill levels are welcome to play casual games in our relaxed setting. 

Come join us for Lego Club on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 4pm - 5pm! The library provides the Lego for creative free build. Creations are displayed at the library for 2 weeks. All materials must stay at the library.

CREATE - SHARE - PLAY!

Science Club is for 3rd through 6th graders who are interested in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Mathematics). Each week kids engage in a new and fun hands-on/minds-on activity exploring a wide range of subjects.

Kids can enjoy being creative by building with LEGO blocks and DUPLO bricks. It's a great opportunity for exploring with new ideas, as well as sharing concepts and strategies with other attendees.

Bring your ideas to life at our Mobile Maker Lab in the Mission Hills-Hillcrest Library. Learn to use various programs and equipment  such as our 3D printer and die cut machine powered by Silhouette Studio.

Join us for another FUN Family Art Night workshop with Art Smarts... learning to draw an Orca at Sunset.  A fun & exciting one hour art class for kids ages 5 - 17.
