Please join us for storytime and craft every Saturday morning in the Children's Area at 10:00AM. 

Visit the library on Saturday & create a terrific craft. All supplies provided!

Learn how to weave with an expert textile artist from the San Diego Creative Weavers Guild!  This class is targeted to homeschooling youth ages 8+. No prior experience required, and all materials will be provided.

Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement. It is more than simply putting flowers in a container. It is a disciplined art form that breathes life into each composition, harmonizing the elements of nature and humanity.

LEGO Free Play: Imagine and build with LEGO! Keep your engineering and problem-solving skills sharp using the library's LEGO bricks.

Get crafty at the library every week! Each week there will be a unique craft that is fun for all ages. All supplies will be provided.

Beads for All is a fun class for all ages and skill levels. Kids under 8 are welcome with an adult by their side. Come explore colors, try simple beading techniques, and create a handmade piece of jewelry to take home.

Creative Collective promotes wellness and enrichment through art-making experiences. Join our open-ended art-making program where you are free to be creative and expressive with many different forms of art!

Join us on the Patio outside the children's room for arts and crafts after school every Wednesday at 2pm.

Activities are designed for school age children.  Young kids may require parent assistance.

This introductory polymer clay class is designed for beginners who want to explore a new sculptural medium in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Learn, play, and create with LEGOs!

Children can build with LEGOs and display their creations in the library.

Celebrate Chinese New Year with a special decorative craft! It's the Year of the Horse and we'll be making a hanging decoration for good luck to commemorate this special celebration! 

Join our crochet and knitting circle for a creative and social experience!  All skill levels and all fiber arts crafts welcome! Bring your own project!

Join us every Monday for LEGO Power Hour! Build your own creations to display in our library.  Program will take place in our study rooms 3 and 4. 

Providing enrichment for our animal friends is incredibly important! During this monthly program you can help us make fun and easy enrichment items for homeless animals at our local Humane Society.

For All Ages

The Tierrasanta Library Adult Coloring Club is a group that gathers to color for relaxation and creativity. We meet in-person every Saturday afternoon, offering a space for social interaction and sharing artistic expressions.

Stretch your imagination and discover the artist within you've always known existed! Create fabulous crafts! In this program, get detailed instructions on how to make a craft you'll be able to take home!

Teens and tweens ages 10–18 are invited to unleash their creativity at Sketch Night!

Join us for drop-in craft Tuesdays. Kids of all ages can make a craft to take with them. All supplies provided. No reservations needed. 

Join us for an hour of crocheting at the library! You can use our supplies, or bring your own projects. Ask questions, learn the basics, or talk to other crocheters while practicing the craft. 

Get messy, make mistakes, and prepare to make ART!
